As Rosie O’Donnell will step out of ABC’s morning show "The View," the television better come up with someone at least as interesting for the audience as Rosie is.
Following some disagreements on contractual matters, Rosie O’Donnell said she wanted to stay for one more year while ABC wanted three, she decided it was better to quit.
After rumors had already surfaced about her leaving intentions, O’Donnell confirmed the reports at the start of yesterday's edition of the ABC gabfest.
"Breaking news," she began. "I have decided that we couldn't come to terms with my deal with ABC." She will complete her duties until mid-June when her contract expires.
"It just didn't work," she said, "and that's show biz. But it's not sad because I loved it here and I love you guys and I'm not going away."
