Sitting on his father's lap, 1-year-old Adam Delacruz held his head still while receiving his first haircut.
"Good job," said Adam's mom, Amber Delacruz, 25, of New Baltimore. "You look good."
The Delacruz family was just one of several that came to Esbi International Salon on Hall Road in Utica on April 1 to receive free haircuts. The staff provided them to active-duty military members and their families.
"This is the second time we've come," said John Delacruz, 28. "We got a letter in the mail telling us about it. I think it's great that they do this. My wife loves this place."
