Hey folks,my name is Steve Littlejohn. I build Barber poles. All kinds of Barber poles All sizes of Barber poles. From Little bitty Lapel pin/Tye tack size,to Great big Honkin; Sidewalk models. I have found that , If you are a new Barber, just starting out, and you want to buy a Barber pole for your new shop, You only have a couple of choices. Either a plastic decal to stick on the window for about $12.00 or a Shiney Chrome topped glass tube for about $400.00!! I try to fill the void in between these two price ranges. I make Old Fashioned Style Barber Poles, that don't require any electricity to get the message across. I have seen that, nowadays there seems to be a renewed interest in "Fancy Shaving Parlors"for men. In the old days, The Barber shop was a pillar of the community where you could go to get cleaned up with a good hot towel shave and a haircut, catch up on all the latest news and solve all the problems of the world. In todays hectic, High tech, high stress world, men do apprieciate a chance to relax and be tended to a little bit.
I think that my poles help to convey that old nostalgia feeling of going back in time when you had time to sit and enjoy the Barbering /Grooming expereince. If I can ever help any of ya'll with signs... poles, etc let me know.

Check out my new web site WWW.Barberpoles.US and let me know what ya'll think. Please be gentle since I am a rookie at all this web stuff.
