ABOUT ME
I opened a salon June'06 in the East Orange,NJ area.I think my work speaks for itself.I've been doing hair since I was 18 years old,and I love it.It's my passion!!!!!I also love to cook and eat.No I'm not a big girl.....I'm new to this site so I'm in the process of jazzing up my page. You can also visit me on myspace at MYSPACE.COM/SCISSORSHAIR.
For all that have shops of your own, it is important to recuit barbers and stylists coming out of school to help them get a start in the industry. Not just anyone though they got to be able to do hair. I've seen to many that have been to school and can't do a lick of hair. Most though can do hair, and it will help your business a 100% by putting your shops name out their to different school in the state. In return you will keep constant notarization with the public throughout the state. Also you'll never have to worry about covering all the overhead by yourself. It just like recuiting in the NFL or NBA draft you go to the different schools and see who puttin it down on some head, how some he or she will be graduating and where they stay by talking to them because 9 times out of 10 if they stay in your area they'll be looking for a shop in that area. Remember it's not about to compeition, it's about making your clients happy and having a good report with the community. If you have the best in your shop then everyone will have success.
