We would like to welcome our 2000th member, aphinity25 and we have hit a new milestone in membership. We are marching on to have the largest membership of barbers and stylists online. By creating a strong community, it will open the door to opportunities to improve your livelyhood by working with others who are seeking you. We are almost done with the BIG PROJECT we have been working on the last few months, we promise it will be worth it!

It coming around the time that salons and barbershops around the country will be shutting down, paying employees, and squeezing in the last clients coming in the door trying to get that weekend cut or style. After talking with members, especially our new member who you will be seeing a lot more of Malik we decided to modify the look of our site to a more white based theme. Hope you like it and please pardon our dust while we continue to tweak a couple of things. We want to acknowlege all of our new members who continues to help our community grow stronger. Also, we are still looking for forum moderators, we have one Malik and possibly another one, Shrimp who will be there to pose informative questions and keep things moving along. We need some stylists to join as a moderator. Be sure to check out the forums because they are making it a great resource for information. Give us your feedback on the new look also.

As we continue to grow in numbers (780+ in 6 months to be exact) we would like to know how we can help your experience here? We would like to congratulate eclipse barbershop for winning our first barber contest, the February Fadeout. He wins a brand new pair of Andis Master clippers and will be added to one of our new sections of our Barber/Stylist Hall of Fame. ...agh, sorry, but we will offically announce it on our site tomorrow at 7pm EST. The voting was very close and we appreciate the contestants who participated. As you know 1st prize is the new Andis Master clippers and we have increased the 2nd prize to a $35 gift certificate to Sally's Beauty Supply. This was very fun and we hope that it gets better and we will continue to increase the prizes. Thanks for all of you who supported the contest and voted.
